What a proper little gem of a site with fantastic staff who are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.
Hot showers, a nice little shop with all the essentials, (Milk, Bread, Icecubes, and marshmallows for over the fire!!)
there are plenty of local places to go with the kids, and prices are very reasonable! we loved it so much we decided to book for the entire season :)
PS save me a spot for next season too please :)

We have stayed here many times over the past few years. First with a tent and then with our caravan. Very friendly site, my son can play happily without worrying about getting ran over like other places I have been. The shop prices are reasonable. Having an open fire is a real bonus which people respect and generally use a spot which has been used before to keep the grass good. We originally came for the park next door which is great but do get out and about because there is a lot to do in the area. We will be back.

Really great campsite. Lots of space. By a lovely lake. The toilets were always clean. The staff were really friendly.

The cost of everything was very reasonable. They are not money grabbing in the slightest.

The adventure park next door is amazing. Loads of stuff to do and only £8 an adult. Once in many of the attractions are free and the food is cheap but good. Struck gold picking this place.

Will definitely be returning soon.

Have just spent a lovely weekend at this site and can highly recommend it. Yes it is a basic site with no frills but for the pitching fees well worth it.

The fact that you can have open fires is an added bonus. The only niggle would be that there are no water taps around the site, so to get water for coffee etc you have to go up to the main block.

The owners and staff are very friendly and for the fishermen out there, the carp bite with just bread for bait. We will be going back hopefully this year

Brilliant campsite! After trying most campsites in the South-east this is defiantly rated as the best. Very friendly and welcoming staff and a great place for the kids or just to relax. Facilities regularly cleaned, prices very good, fishing great. A*!
